South Australian Catholic Education Visit SBCAT Schools
Yesterday, SBCAT had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from Catholic Education South Australia. The group's visit was part of their trip to London, which included attending a conference at St Mary's University and exploring schools within Catholic Academy Trusts.
The day began at St Michael's, where Felicity and Joanne presented on the formation of SBCAT, outlining the unique model and offerings established for our schools, and sharing the Trust's vision to be a beacon of Catholic Education. The visitors also had the opportunity to meet St Michael's students and learn about the significant role chaplaincy plays in supporting students' personal development and faith formation.
During their visit to St Michael's, James Meston from ArchD radio, who works with Catholic Education South Australia, recorded a podcast. He interviewed three Year 11 students about their experiences in a Catholic school and their individual faith journeys. This recording is available on Spotify (See link below).
In the afternoon, the delegation visited St Joseph's, where they met with Catherine, her staff, and students. Another podcast was recorded with three students from St Joseph's, capturing their perspectives.
