Jubilee Senior Citizens Tea Party

In June the St Michael’s 6^th form Chaplaincy team and Head of Chaplaincy Ms. Casey organised a Summer Tea Party for Grandparents and Senior Citizens as part of our Jubilee Year events for the local community.

It was a wonderful occasion with a chance for generations to mix and exchange stories about their school experiences. Our student chaplains also spoke about their important work of being faith leaders in the school in this Jubilee year.

Special thanks to Ms Simmons for baking the delicious scones and sausage rolls for the tea part and to Mr and Mrs Lawrence, Mr Kose and the St Michael’s band performers for the fantastic entertainment!
