SBCAT Easter Newsletter - Issue 05
As we conclude this Lenten term and approach the joy of the Resurrection, I am delighted to share our Easter newsletter with you. This is a particularly special moment for the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust as we mark two years since our opening, offering a valuable opportunity to reflect on our shared journey and the many highlights from this term.
It has been a privilege to visit our schools over recent weeks and to witness first-hand the vibrant life within our communities. From the curiosity and wonder of our youngest learners to the ambition and achievements of our older students, I continue to be inspired by all that takes place across our Trust. These experiences reaffirm that our schools are not only places of academic excellence, but inclusive communities where every individual is welcomed, known, and loved.
This term has also been a time of meaningful spiritual reflection, as our pupils and staff have engaged deeply with the Lenten season through prayer, reconciliation, and collective worship. Alongside this, we have seen the continued growth of our staff through professional development opportunities, including the graduation of colleagues from the Shepherding Talent Catholic Leadership Programme, strengthening leadership across our Trust.
We have much to celebrate—from the impactful work of our Student Trust Board, to our schools’ participation in the London RISE Education Fortnight, and the many achievements of our pupils in sport, the arts, and beyond. These moments reflect the strength of our shared mission and the dedication of our entire community.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all staff, governors and families for your continued commitment and support. Your contribution ensures that our schools remain places of excellence, care, and faith.
I wish you all a holy and peaceful Easter.
